This is a Must Visit Place!

Great food in a traditional inn, but with a difference...the theme is around an archive of original theatre posters and memorabilia collected over many years of the shows in Scarborough. Worth a visit to browse the history of theatre alone, but with excellent contemporary cuisine as well, this is a MUST VISIT place. The restaurateur clearly has a passion for theatre as well as food. Never Disapppointed!

Best Roast Duck I ever ate!

I found out about this place on the internet and debated about going to have Sunday lunch at The Copper Horse, but I could not make it for Sunday lunch so I ate here one evening in the week instead and all in all the right decision was made by myself as the service I received was exceptionally perfect and looked after here throughout my visit and I am feeling hungry right now as I am writing this review, I went for the Roast Duck with Tangy Orange sauce accompanied with Roast Potatoes, Yorkshire Pudding and gravy and Chocolate Fudge Brownie for dessert and I left the restaurant 1 very happy customer. A Firm Family Favourite!

Having lived in Seamer all my life, the Copper Horse has always been a firm family favourite. You can always rely on the menu/special board to have traditional dishes as well as some fresh and modern ideas. The staff are always polite and nothing is ever too much trouble. Food is always Excellent!

We visit this restaurant regularly and have yet to have a bad meal. We last visited for birthday celebrations and were again very pleased with our meal. The standard of the food is always excellent and the staff,with their hard work, make it an enjoyable experience.

When we were on holiday last year The Copper Horse was our first 'port of call' and its was this year too, we could not wait to come back! But alas I was taken poorly and your staff were so helpful and looked after us so well...Thankyou to the staff who went beyond the call of duty! Barry Green & Family... (PS.
