Our frequent trips to Scarborough would not be the same without a visit (or two!) to the Copper Horse. The theatre themed restaurant, friendly attentive staff and varied menu plus daily specials all gel to make this a truly enjoyable dining experience. The standard of food and presentation is outstanding - 10 out of ten every time!! And washed down with a pint of delectable Yorkshire Blackout - what more could you wish for .... can't wait for our next visit !!

This is a great pub/restaurant - we ate here 3 times on our trip trying different menu items each visit and were never disappointed. The service is fast and friendly and the food delicious and plentiful. The memorabilia is fascinating, too! We kept thinking we ought to try other pubs or restaurants but this was so good we felt it not worth the risk of being disappointed elsewhere. Just wish it were near to our home!

We stayed at 'Palladium House' and it was fantastic in every way. The furnishings and décor were first class. There was nothing to dislike at all. The food and the staff at The Copper Horse restaurant were excellent. A perfect holiday in every way.

We went for Sunday Lunch and it was absolutely the best Roast Beef I had tasted in a long time. The portions were large and the veg plentyfull. A lovely little touch was when the waiter asked if we wanted any extra gravy. Instead of appearing with the gravy jug and pouring it on, he brought our own individual jug, small touch but great thought. The decor is Theatrical which was a great topic of conversation especially as many were from the Scarborough area. Highly recommended.
We went last night for a birthday party. Wonderful food and staff so friendly. Good helpings and great flavours. Desserts to die for. Definitely going back despite the journey over the moors!
